"Just 42% approve of his handling of the economy, 37% approve of how he is handling the implementation of the Affordable Care Act and 34% approve of his handling of the situation involving Ukraine and Russia."

I would think the economy would have a lower approval rating. I am also really stunned about the Ukraine situation. What more could he have done? Or should have done? I actually feel he is handling that situation as best he can without risking American lives. And I am going to assume the ACA rating is probably just a fallout from the website rollout since the majority of Americans aren't negatively affected by the ACA. Thats just my opinion though.

ACA: Did you forget those forced into part time work?
Russia: We are neither protecting Ukraine or staying out of the mess.

ACA: That was the employer's choice. And I said majority. Not a small sliver of people who Fox news blew out of proportion.
Russia: Please tell me how you would handle it better.

Low information voters--esp. wrg to Ukraine.

Economy is understandable. People will always be angry when the economy is shit; and when his great success amounts to preventing what it would have been--essentially, people can't appreciate what didn't happen--it is not surprising.

So 41% are still too dumb to see the failure. Ah well, at least the number of true believers seems to be dropping.

Politics is a funny thing though, he gets blamed more for something that he really has very little control over (ukraine), and doesn't get as much blame for the disasters he willingly unleashes on the country (obummercare).

$3 trillion in savings by 2020, now 12 million more insured than before, up to ~30million by 2020?

disaster? lulz

Yeah, if you're dumb enough to believe that garbage, you're probably one of the fools I mentioned before.

The phantom math used to make up figures like that IS truly lolz worthy!

Come 2020- by which time Obama is far out of reach of any blame or consequence and people's memories have long since short circuited anyway- if anyone even bothers to bring up this nonsense it'll be something like "okay, so were $10 trillion in the hole but see... we're NOT $13 trillion in the hole..... $3 trillion dollar savings!!!!!!"

Job Approval Lows
Harry Truman 22
Dwight Eisenhower 48

Lyndon Johnson 35
Richard Nixon 24
Gerald Ford 37

Why anybody would believe the numbers put out by the proponents of this bill is beyond me. The CBO seems all over the place on savings vs costs. And there will be enough mud in the water for both sides to stake their claim of success or failure. But in the end I dont think anybody will have truely know if it saved or cost us money.

The fact some people still thought he was doing a good job at the end of his first term tells me most Americans are morons and we are doomed.

When you have a devoted throng of worshippers and the media (actually, those are often one and the same), your minimum rating is always going to be buoyed to some extent. It's amazing it's even dropped this low.

using made up Obama admin provided numbers.

sorry, congressional budget committee forecasts. This is available for everyone to see. You don't have to listen to the words from your handlers, but you will probably keep doing so.

as far as signups--you and Doc S are correct. I think it is now 8 or 9 million? Brain fart.
