I'm fond of both but raisins give me gas. So, which I eat is dependent on my social activities hours later.

While I'm not crazy about any kind of chocolate, I'd rather have chocolate chip cookies than ANY cookie with raisins...

Wanna make oatmeal cookies? Fine...but "craisins" in them instead...MUCH better.

Want to piss people off? Make brownies with raisinettes. I like them but many do not.

What a waste of perfectly good brownies.

However, getting back onto subject it's perfectly acceptable to put chocolate chips in brownies, that's the second best use for them.

I don't think so. Good (homemade) Chocolate Chip Cookies wins over Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, any day, any time. :awe:

Those are lesser cookies, which bow low before the coconut cranberry pecan cookie.

Chocolate is king of all desserts so your logic is flawed. The LAW is:

Dessert with chocolate > dessert with no chocolate

All future opinions from the OP and anyone that agrees with him are rendered invalid.
