oakley sunglasses listed on ebay legit?

do you think oakleys on ebay are real? or are they "foakleys"?
always wanted a pair and can never find them discounted anywhere and now that i've started using ebay so i figure maybe i can try there.

 

I'm sure some of them are real, but which ones is a gamble. I didn't feel comfortable getting them from eBay, and the winning bids were only usually about $10 less than retail, so I just ordered from Oakley.com.

well i just ask just in case someone has bought them off of ebay or have browsed through them and he/she has any opinions on the matter...

Your gonna have to look at the item and say for yourself.....when in doubt, email seller. I believe that they must be honest.

i dont find it too hard for them to just lie and saythat they;'re real either....
i notice that some auctions include the warranty/registration papers along w/ the pouch and box while others only include the pouch...but i think jumpr's comment about the ending bids being very close to retail is accurate so i might just get them from a reputable place

not worth the chance that they aren't legit. legit ones atleast have the warrantee

You used to be able to get fake oakleys at web stores for $10. Did they shut them down? I bought 4 at one time a few years ago. Still have a couple. Good deal IMO. Oakleys are way overpriced IMO.

Well you will know real quick if theyre fake... warranty cards wont be included and sometimes all you get is a bag and the glasses (sure fire way to know theyre not real).

Look at the pics if he has real pics then its a safer bet youll get a real product.

i bought some from ebay, they ended at ~50, and they were real. it just depends on the seller...

When on my 8th grade trip back in the day to Washington, DC, you could find these glasses forsale by guys carrying grocery bags full of them. Our group bought the guy out. $5 was the going price.

My brother picked up his pair of "Oakeys" from a guy with a suitcase in NYC.

I had a pair my freshman year in college. They broke twice in less than a year and the lenses scratched very easily. Ray-Bans from now on for me!

They are most likely 10$ replicas, not Oakleys.

I bought a pair off ebay and they were real. I like to think it had something to do with my being able to choose honest people, or luck of the draw, either way they work.

There are lots of other sunglasses besides oakleys that are much better, both in function and in style. Take a look around you, who's really wearing oakleys anymore?
