Oakley Question - Polarized lenses worth it?

What are the differences between the Half Jacket and the Half Jacket XLJ? - XLJ was made for bigger heads (found through google, Oakley website sucks)

Also, what color lense/frame do you think I should get? I'm thinking about the Jet Black/Fire Iridium.

Are Polarized lenses really worth the extra $50? Can you really see that much of a difference while driving? That's mainly what I'm using them for.

I think polarized lenses are great. They do help w/ the glare significantly for a lot of people. If you like to fish, it helps you see through the water a bit, since it cuts the glare.

so it is really good.

I see quite a bit of difference when driving. Enough to pay $30 more for polarized lenses on my Ray-Bans.

They help *more* if you're at sea a lot, but road glare is significantly reduced.

i payed $40 total for my shades and they are polarized. look way better than my $90 nikes i had before which werent. they eliminate a vector of light so glare is substantially reduced and now i can go fishing and see the fish in the water!

Just bought the Oakley Half Jackets w/Polarized Lenses

I'll let you know what I think of them when I get 'em (should be in a couple days, opted for overnight shipping)

my brother had a pair of polarized glasses..

since i am stuck wearing glasses most of the day, i never got to try them on until i got contacts.

The polarized glasses are great for driving with the sun in your eyes.. and when there is a glare from overcast skies the road is still so clear.

someday i will go back to contacts.
