For the second time in 3 years. I say Billy Beane is the Best GM in the Major leagues. Congrats to the Twinkies too. These two teams had the 3rd and 4th lowest Payroll in the AL and were able to win their divisions. As Football and Basketball decend into mediocracy, Baseball only continues to get better.

Most Twins fans on this board, in Minnesota and across this country are fully expecting to be playing and winning in the last AL/NL matchup this season. You're obviously too young to remember the 87 and 91 season. You obviously don't understand the magic of the Metrodome. You obviously don't realize that the Twins are not a bunch of stars playing tgether, they are a rare comodity these days.....They are a TEAM. As a TEAM they have one goal and NOBODY is going to step in their way............To received that World Series trophy for none other than Selig himself.

Game 1: Minnesota 3 Oakland 2
Game 2: Okaland 6 Minnesota 1
Game 3: Minnesota 4 Oakland 3
Game 4: Minnesota 6 Oakland 4

I'm sorry but *MAJOR LEAUGE* baseball is every bit as pointless as *PRO* golf or tennis. You cant* have compitition if there is pretty much nothing to be lost.

These guy's are putting nothing on the line when they play these sport's, yet they still complain. I've seen alot of golf and tenis players cry when they lose, this is where the conecction with baseball comes in, the players are a bunch of over paid whiny babies.
