I've had to pick up people before and drop people off on Thanksgiving weekend for the past 2 years in San Jose International and it's NEVER been a problem with traffic.
Yet today when I went to drop people off at OAK, the traffic was backed up all the way just past the entrance (far from the curbside dropoff). Took like 20 minutes after entering the airport to get all the way to the curb to drop people off. What's worse is there's not enough entrances from the outer loop to the inner loop. And if you do want to get in the inner loop, be prepared to be stuck.
What a POS airport. I would never fly from that crappy place.
Edit: I'm from San Jose, so I frequently fly from SJC and I go international a lot from SFO in addition to flights across the nation. I've seen crowded airports, but NEVER is the traffic backed up solid that you see the terminal still a mile away and you're already not moving.
