I'll be in oahu in Christmas, where to visit there that day when some of the sightseeing places will be closing?

Go do some snorkeling somewhere. Kulima cove at turtles bay resorrt if hanauma bay is closed. Ala moans beach park is chill to hang out AT too

The beach. Unless things have changed since I was in Hawaii last, they're open 24/7/365.

HOWEVER, from recent news reports, you MAY be sharing your towel with some of the myriad of homeless people...the economy there has taken quite a downturn...

If you have access to a car, try taking the Round Top / Tantalus drive right around sunset. It's a great view of the sunset and if you stay an extra few mins...you can see the night light up.
