Aren't they both internal since they're laptop hard drives?

So if I buy this, and I pull out the hard drive... I can use it as an internal yes?... Isn't it just an external case with an internal hard drive?

You can always pull the "internal" hdd out of the "external" case and use it as an internal hdd.
