Go for it!Baked Beans is the only thing I use mine for, but I really should try some more dishes in it.

why not start off with a nice hearty beef stew?Probably just try some of my basic dishes, like Chilli, Chicken Cacciatore. Should try pulled pork, perhaps a beef roast.
Tasty Beef & Noodles
1 1/2 lbs stew beef (I use chuck roast and cut it into pieces, it's cheaper)
1 can French onion soup
1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz)
1 can golden mushroom soup - undiluted (optional)
1/2 cup sliced celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
4-6 oz sliced fresh mushrooms (optional)
Dash of pepper
Combine all ingredients and cook on low for 8 hrs. Serve over hot buttered egg noodles.
I usually cook the egg noodles al dente and mix them into the crock pot after it cools down. They will absorb the flavor.
this sounds good. have you ever tried it over rice? i'm a big rice fan but not so much with noodles.
no one mentioned making baked beans in their crock pot?
I even make meatballs in mine.
Lamb stew is also good.
yes, because the process is still the same. Slow cooking makes baked beans what they are.Are baked beans still baked beans if they're not baked?
