o/cing X1800XT 512mb

I heard there is a feature that runs x1800xt's at slower clock speeds while in 2D but when 3D(games) is being used the video card uses the o/ced settings. How do I go about do this exactly? I want to o/c my video card but since I don't game alot I don't want to put the stress on the card all the time.

Whats best o/cing tool for X1800XT?

first try using ccc and use the auto oc tool... i got 100mhz on memory and gpu with this and settled for that...

if that's not enuf for u, then u have to go find all the stuff about killing the ati services and working through with atitray...

it's a pain to oc these things...

I don't see any o/c settings in ccc. Is it something that needs to be enabled like coolbits(nvidia).

its not allowing me to change any settings? Sorry but I haven't used ATI since 9800 series.
