I have an Athlon XP 2600+ 333 FSB (Tbred B) and an Asus 7N8X Deluxe. I've gotten it to 200MHz FSB @ 11.5 mult (2290 MHz) with a stock AMD HSF. How good of an overclock is this?

hovers around 55 deg C. I only overclock when I'm bored so the longest it's gone is about 3 hours, but stable. (When I OC I'm using a PCI Radeon, and a 3.5GB Maxtor CrystalMax drive [while since you've heard those names huh?])

I am strongly considering the Coolermaster Aero7. Looks cool and keeps the chip cool (and is relatively cheap), so don't flame me on the stock HSF.

BTT,
I have the same chip with Corsair pc3200 RAM and a SK-7 and YS Tech Fan on a Epox 8RDA+ Board (stock). What settings for FSB and Mulitpier do you suggest w/o adding cooling mods to the board.

I have a 2600+ 333fsb with stock HSF and running smooth now 24/7,3weeks straight @ 2.3Ghz. Using A7N8X-LA(biosV3.06).Also running a Celeron 400 @ 500mhz for well over a year. JetATX 133 mobo. Home made alluminium HS with internal copper tubing and small (1cfm) water pump pushing cooled water through HS. Reversed fans x3 pulling out codensation. Will be trying this soon on the AMD Athlon XP 2600+.....................................fingers x'd!!!!!!
