I have a 500e on an Iwill slotket, sitting on a Matsonic 7101c mobo (VIA Apollo Pro+). The slotket is jumpered to 1.75v, with the CPU detection jumpered to "auto." The mobo is not the greatest for o/c-ing in terms of FSB options, but that's not really a problem as it has a 133mhz setting and I know this chip will do that (and more, at this voltage) from use on another mobo. My RAM is PC100.
The problem that I am having is that for some reason I can only boot up with the RAM set to "CPU host speed" (which limits me as this PC100 will not do 124 or 133). The other option that shows up is 66mhz, but if I save CMOS and try to boot with that setting I get a black screen and must then reset CMOS to get anything. The mobo has been jumpered into "virtual 100mhz" operation, but no 100mhz option shows up for RAM speed.
I have tried setting the FSB on the slotket as well (auto, 100mhz, 133mhz), but nothing changes. Any thoughts?
