I just bought a Celeron2-566 to run in my AOpen motherboard. For some reason, the board doesn't even recognize that a chip is in there. No beeps, no POST, nothing.
I flashed the bios, and I've tested the chip in a friends computer (got to 850Mhz@1.8v on his Abit BX6r2).
I really don't want to have to buy another motherboard, since the whole point of getting the Celery over a Tbird was the fact that I could presumably use my old BX board.
Does the AOpen not run Celemines? Anyone out there running a Celemine in an AOpen AX6BC?
Thanks in advance!! Feel free with the advice, I'll take all I can get...
