O/C Memory For DFI LANPARTY

I'm building up a system with overclocking in mind. I'm going with the DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D mobo, but I'm a little overwhelmed by the RAM choices. the OCZ GoldVX PC4000 2x512mb was highly recommended to me, but I also hear good things about G.skill. Which do you think I should go with?

Thanks!

I was afraid of that. It's hella expensive, was hoping for a cheaper option that works just as well (I guess I should have mentioned that), but oh well, go with what works

if it's worth it for u to spend that much to OC go for it. If not don't go for it buy g.skill.
G.skill isnt too bad either.. but OCZ will work better in this case.. how much r u planning to push the system?...

the DFI board has vdimm up to 4V so your best bet is to use something based on Winbond UTT, BH5, or even CH5 chips, Eg OCZ VX (of anytype), the new OCZ gold memory is the new BH5 stuff and I'm sure other companies produce stuff using these chips (the Twinmoss speed premium memory uses brainpower PCB's and Winbond UTT chips) You will prolly get the best performance out of these types of memory if you are willing to push the voltage to 3+ volts. if you just want a good every day overclock w/ lower voltages then pretty much anything based on Samsung TCCD memory would be a good choice.

Um. Just get the OCZ value VX. Its the same thing as the GOldVX PC4000, just not guaranteed to hit those speeds, since htey are untested.

And they ARE better than any other 115 dollar Gig setup, including than the G SKill, Twinmos, Blueline watever..., hands down. Cheaper too (or same price). Check ATACOM for them.

Btw, the GOLD VX ARe UTT, not Bh5.

I've always used OCZ in all my systems, and it works wonderful, stable and solid. If you are looking for a quick cheap and dirty OC, go with the value VX, if your looking to run the system always OC'ed and be stable go with the TCCD chips...arcane said it best.
