Currently using 1004 AwardBIOS. I have oc'd my 1.6a to 2.4, simply by bumping my external frequency to 150, and it's been rock solid for a year.

Now that I am doing a clean install of XP, I would like to get as much power as I can. The current "By SPD" is:
SDRAM CAS Latency=2T
SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay=3T
SDRAM RAS Precharge Delay=3T
SDRAM Active Precharge Delay=6T

I can increase to the following:
SDRAM CAS Latency=1.5T
SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay=2T
SDRAM RAS Precharge Delay=2T
SDRAM Active Precharge Delay=5T

Will this screw my system? Anybody with first-hand experience with this config on the best settings? TIA

you need to answer your own question.
we cant answer that for you.
MemTest86 can test the stability of your ram for you.
(BTW: there is no such thing as CAS1.5, it doesnt work)

why not just go straight for 400ddr insted? link
