How reliable is Sandra?

what version of sandra do you run? my results are

10362/13171

that's with 2.6Ghz P4 and DDR running 413

Yeah, check out the overclocker forums and there are skads of Sandra benches of PIII/Celeron CPU's outperforming P4's and XP's except of course on the memory bandwidth component. The 512K chips like yours do perform better on the multimedia than the same clock 256K PIII/Celerons also.

Yeah a p3 512k is probably about 33% more efficient as a general rule as compared to a williamette. A Northwood would pull away I'd imagine, but those results are about right. The chips are very different, and various applications would show you different things.
