I'm interested in just trying to overclock my Athlon 900 with the FSB. I have a Soyo K7VTA and so far it's been very good, I just haven't overclocked with it yet. It does allow for FSB adjustments in the Bios, however whenever I change the FSB, even to 101MHz, the computer refuses to boot, not even to the Bios.

I didn't think you had to unlock the processor to overclock by the FSB. Was I wrong? Is this a motherboard or a processor problem. Everytime I change the FSB setting, I have to clear the Bios via a jumper to get it to boot back up again.

It might just be very sensitive to the bus speed changes (mobo), but not the chip.
