Hi all, I have been able to stabilize my perscott at 3.8 with prime95. I have since done the droop mod and been able to reach 4ghz 250 x 16 wth my 1:1 ratio. I am able to boot up to windows and done many utility downloads over the net and also run many programs. Until I can prime95 stable it I can't say it is a success. I varied the voltage from 1.45 to 1.6 on the bios, and that would be 1.53 to 1.648 on the actual coz of the droop mod. Any suggestions anyone?

Have you ran prime yet?? How long did it last??? If it fails within 30 minutes that is super flaky and likely will take more vcore then you are willing to go....

Do you run 2 instances of it??? If not you should or at least prime and some other cpu intensive app....like FH...like encoding!!!

That's just it man, I do run 2 instances. With the 3.8 I have been able to run it for more than 9hrs no probs and done video editing with it and have not run into any probs. I decided to do the droop mod and been succesfull so here I am at 4ghz but the second I run prime two instances with 1 and 0 it don't last a minute and I won't be satisfied until prime stable

Sorry man I would not be able to fully explain it to you. I came accross it while searching for a better voltage on my cpu. Its the soldering a VR potentiometer to your motherboard. Like in the case of my board the p4c800e D the voltage on my cpu fluctuates and it's lower than the bios setting, wheras after the droop mod it got more stable and the voltage increases as you adjust your VR. You might want to google it for more details, at least that's what they call it.
