you don't need to unlock the multiplier (ie: pencil trick), right? (since you dont have that option on the k7s5a)

and how far can u push the fsb on the xp1800+ on stock hsf? Will it goto 166 fsb?

The XP's are 266MHz (133 DDR) processors so yours better do 133fsb. Regarding unlocking, I don't know your board so I can't say if that's an option, but if you don't see a multiplier adjustment in the bios chances are you can't do it. Go ahead and up the fsb though.

According to my experience with my Epox 8K3A+ I am able to run my Athlon T-bird at 1.4 with a 166mhz FSB. But as for your mobo I'm really not sure give it a shot start low and work your Fsb slowly until you get it to a speed wich is still 100% stable but OC'd. The max for my MB with my sys config is 170-175fsb After that my WD800bb HDD's Get flaky becuase they dont like PCI bus over 40mhz. Time to buy some good OD HDD's
