allright...the Captain Oates comeback made me laugh...I also love that the OC cycles through their characters, that just makes me laugh, remember the lawyer lady at Sandy's law firm? I love how the characters have a defining moment and then disappear, it's what keeps me coming back...I laughed so hard with the spiderman thing and I swear you could see Summer start to laugh in the middle of the kiss...I'm sure it took a number of takes because I don't think I could have done it with a straight face...and I would just like to ask, what was Sandy thinking, I only hope my wife looks that good at whatever age Kirsten is.

Oh...and I can't believe I know all their names just off the top of my head...

I think they're setting the characters up to have to stay back a grade, thus prolonging the time the writers can keep the characters in high school 😉

They were my 2 fav female characters 🙁

Seth+Summer is good to have back, Marissa needs to DIAF.
 
The Spiderman scene was the corniest ever. But at the same time I laughed my butt off and loved it. That writer is one smart dude.

ya, the ryan-lindsey thing never seemed believable imo. In every scene she was in last night, her lines could have been "blah, blah, blah" and it would have been just as compelling.

this season, the mexican gardner, lindsey, and fat kim delaney have all been horrible additions (especially since they took the screen time of Jimmy & Julie and added nothing). "Nice guy" Cal sucks too. Still, they haven't added up to the train wreck that was oliver from last season.

It could be a great episode in two weeks... competely unbelievable, but it sounds like Career Opportunites. If they get Summer bouncing up and down on a kiddie horse ride in a white tank-top like Jennifer Connelly, it could be the greatest episode ever! 😛

i lived in socal my entire life, most of it in the O.C. Season 1 had more O.C. related tidbits and locations thrown in. Now, I don't think they film any part of the show in O.C. The bait shack looks like it's on the Redondo Beach pier.

Well, they are bringing in Demi Moore next season, so Jennifer Connelly is not entirely out of the question.

she started out ok, but the writers seemed to change their minds mid-stream and didn't develop her relationship with ryan very well. It never seemed that she was a part of the Cohen family (probably because there haven't been any good family scenes in awhile because of Rebecca)
 
i stopped watching OC a while ago. i think end of season 1. although it was a good show (and probably still is), keeping up with 2 shows (Lost and 24) is quite enough

man, how could you watch the last episode of season 1 and not want to immediately watch the first episode of season 2?

I just got through watching last night's episode and it was great. Aside from the first episode of this season (which basically was great just because Ryan came back to Newport) I think this was the best episode of the season.
 
Just watched it earlier tonight...great episode! But I'm really anxious to see where they make progress in the storylines now that Ryan's single, Seth and Summer are cozy again (Spidey-kiss and all), Sandy and Kirsten are kosher...new character time.

I'm just glad to see Seth victorious 🙂

Its very interesting how they bring in new characters and send them off.
It gives the writers opportunities to bring them back whenever....should be interesting.
