There are many guides, posts, and threads that I have encountered in regards to o/c computers. I stumbled across this thread and was hoping some of you veterans could give us wantabe's your take on it.

Although it is over a year old I assume this does give a somewhat accurate account into the process of o/cing.

Please remember, common knowledge for some is a revelation to others.

thanks

i totally dig that comment o mighty wise person dude. :D

some people here in anandtech are meant to teach, and others not. it does get frustrating explaining the same thing over tens and even hundreds of times to people, but some of us admire spreading goodwill and some others dont. :)

ah yes teaching, I can relate to that. There is a definite feeling of self worth when you experience a person learning and growing. I'm quite sure there have been numerous occasions where individuals have come here and were guided by others and left with a wealth of knowledge. Truely satisifying for both. A common denominator found in these forums is that everyone is driven by a purpose. No deterents or distractions affecting the learning process. The one downside I see is that the teacher has to deal with dumb and "more dumb" students.

I fit into the "more dumb" catagory. :)

p.s.

what about the web site....lol
