i love their radio show.
how old is your nephew?
not a kid friendly show..
My nephew is 18.
So we went, and the fans in Philly suck. They lived up to their rep as being the worst fans anywhere.
The 1st comic was Ric Vos, and he killed. The 2nd was Jimmy Shubert, who happens to be from Philly, and he got booed off the stage. His routine wasn't great, but h probably shouldn't have been completely booed off the stage.
Dom Irerra (sp?) was pretty good, but the fans apparently were getting restless and just wanted to see Jimmy Norton, so they started booing him, too. The best, though, was that Bill Burr started getting booed a couple of minuts into his set. Instead of trying to fight through it, he went into a rant abot how Philly sucks, their sports teams have no chance on winning a championship, etc. It was HILARIOUS. Bill Burr is funny, anyway, but he was relentless at the stff he was saying about the fans, the diseases he wished upon them, etc.
I think Bill may have been the funniest of the night.
Patrice O'Neill was really good, Tracey Morgan was funny, Bob Saget killed, and so did Bob Kelly. Jim Norton was having a great, of course, and was the show closer.
For some reason, I think I'm forgetting someone, though.
To finish off the evening, we went to Geno's in Philly for some steaks. And, of course, we ordered in English.
😉
EDIT: Ralphie May was also very funny. I really like Ralphie o0n Last Comic Staning, so it was nice to see him live, too.
