After 4 -5 months of perfect performance my NZXT PSU shut down the system yesterday with no warning. At first I thought it was just a one time thing so I powered everything back one and a few minutes later, power went out again.
After 3 or 4 times of this, I got an old power supply out of an unused system and hooked it up. System was rock solid after that. I put the NZXT back in and within 15 minutes the system shut down. Switched back to the old PSU and everything is fine again.
I noticed on the NZXT box that the power supply will shutdown if it detects certain low/over voltage situations so I'm not sure if this is the cause or if there's just something wrong with the PSU. Is there any way to diagnose this other than what I've done so far?
My hardware hasn't changed at all, same system I've had for years other than a new case and PSU everything is the same.
