nzxt phantom 820 fan controller problem

intro

Junior Member
Hi I just transferred my system to an nzxt phantom 820. Hooked everything up including the 4 pin molex connector that powers the fan controller and i can see that all 3 case fans that it came with are hooked up to the connectors from the case but for some reason the case fans dont power on when i start the comp----am i missing something?. I'm assuming that all i have to do is connect the molex connector to the power supply.

Any help would be appreciated

Hello,
I registered to get in touch with you. My name is Jason, and I'm NZXT's Community Support rep.

We can try and troubleshoot this. Is your Hue working? I only ask because the two boards share wiring. Please send me an email to jason.worner@nzxt.com and we'll work on this.

Thanks,
Jason

Would be nice to see the solution for this.

I lost power yesterday, unplugged my power strip, power came back on, and plugged back in my power strip. My computer was running fine until i restarted it and the case fans would not turn on, but the computer loaded up windows to the login screen.

Im guessing the fan controller built into the case is failing or intermittent.

Im at work right now, so i will look further into it when i get home.
