NZXT Phantom 410 Fan and lighting questions!!

Well now that my hardware setup is almost complete, I want to get the case to look good as well .. I'm still undecided on the Gunmetal 410 or the white.. I really really like the white, but am wondering how the color holds up, and if they stay relatively clean looking.. I would love to do white with blue , or possibly even the gunmetal with blue, purple or red, or orange... ooorrr... I cant think of a color that looks bad with GM , lol .. SO any suggestions, or pics would be great




Now, as far as the inside lighting itself.. What do most people get ( as far as brand/vendor ) for good quality and service?


In the stock 410 case, does anything have lighting?


If not, do you just buy fans with LEDs in them? If so , what is a quality brand/vendor


And what is a good set to use in the case itself?, Ive never even seen them in person.. Is it basically a rope light type setup Just ran to the mobo or psu?

Not a big fan of case lighting but I do recommend going with a LED strip and fan combo instead of buying a fan with LEDs. The reason being is that you have more choice and there are fewer good quality LED fans than those without. Should you choose fan with LEDs, Aerocool Shark seems to be a decent choice.

As for LED strips themselves, you can find them here. Some may require plugging via 3 pin power or molex extension, either way shouldn't be a problem. Positioning can be at the roof of the case as it shines down or at the side panel. Whichever way you choose, just keep in mind that the strips shouldn't be visible as you look through the side panel window.
