NYT budget calculator: Biased again

The LA Times budget calculator was popular around here and its been a while since a new one came out. Well the NY Times just came out with one, but for the whole country.

Here is the new budget calculator for the New York Times. Its a shame it doesn't include an option to fire all federal employees and rehire them at 50% wage. Or to void all pensions. Or to stop food stamp and welfare payments.
