Drunk posting on Friday night doesn’t bode well for the weekend.

Well, a person can go straight for some hair of the dog Saturday morning to ease the pain. Or Sunday. Or any day if they're retired.

For the longest time I thought Beto was black, for no reason that comes to mind. Regardless, I'm sure there are tens of people saddened by this news.

Beca

Because nothing rebuts better than stupid hyperbole! Stick to being a misogynist, its definitely your strong point.

Well, boyz, there are more than a few posts today, some even here in this thread that probably could have been infracted in this brave new world of corporate enforced manners, but THIS is the only one that got reported, so, CONGRATULATIONS, MooseNSquirrel, you get the first infraction point.

BETO?
Who the F... cares?
I once thought Beto as just before his time. Needed more work, more focus, a little more experience.
I thought Beto "might be" the next JFK.
Oh boy, was I ever wrong.
Beto was a loser, as Donald Trump would say and I agree with Trump on that one.
Naw... Beto is not the hope of the future, Beto is just nuts.
Nuts then, nuts now, nuts forever more.
Beto is certainly no JFK in the making, thats for sure.
Bye bye Beto.....

All good. The effort to comb through someone's posts to ascertain someone's attitude towards women would take quite a bit of effort on the part of moderators.

Apologies for hurting someone's feelings.

As a Texan i can say i'm really sorry that "Beto" is no longer running for President. He probably did more in the last few months to keep Texas a red state than any other single person. Way to go BETO!!! Thank you for your service!

I'd expect the next president to nominate a lot of these candidates for cabinet positions. O'Rourke would be a good ICE director. Could shut down the baby prisons and reform their racist culture.
Since Obama couldn't do it, the next Democrat will?

Apparently all of those outspoken and stupid responses such as making churches that don't support gay marriage pay taxes didn't work out too well for poor little Beta O' Rourke.

“Power is a curious thing. Who lives, Who dies. Power resides where men believe it resides. It is a trick, A shadow on the wall.”

Same goes for people's placement on polls - and their ability to hold or take elected office. Yes, it has to do with the things Beto did... but the public perception of him was equally important, and not something he had direct control over. The man never polled high, I suspect he never would have. His entire candidacy was a little spark off the center stage. Hardly noticeable, not worth mentioning.
