Did the other cop taze it after it was shot? Or was that pepper spray?

Poor dog. But im curious about the story of the guy laying on the ground looking dead and nobody cares about that.

The dog WAS charging the officer, but I don't think shooting the fucking dog was necessary.

He was having a seizure, and the puppy was just trying to protect him. The police officers were trying to arrest him for lying on the ground, not trying to help him.

Wow, the cops almost shot each other. Too bad animal control wasn't there.

Considering the NYPD is trained to use pepper spray on bullet wounds to aid in subduing people, it seems logical that it would work on dogs too.

His shot was pretty close to that guys head, so I actually think they were trying to kill him, not arrest him.

Watching the video again, it looks like the police did everything wrong when it comes to dealing with a scared/defensive dog. Definitely could have been avoided.

What video were you watching? Me, I just saw a dog bite a person and charge a police officer who defended himself. Sad the dog had to die but it did have to die because the alleged owner on the ground could not take care of it.
Fuck yeah.
That dog could have taken a serious bite out of the officer. He acted correctly.

not sure how you know this. The police could have been trying to help him, but the dog would have gone after them regardless. terrible situation. I don't think the police had little choice.
