NYIAS: Ford Flex crossover

It DOES bear quite a resemblance to the xB, but once it comes out, I'll go look at one anyway. We're talking about replacing our Expedition with something a bit more gas-mileage friendly. Nothing I've seen so far gives mileage estimates for this however, and it'd have to be quite an improvement to justify buying a new vehicle.

It has the same engine/tranmission as the edge and that gets 18/25. This larger vehicle is probably only going to get low 20s on the highway.

I'm amazed that I'm saying this.....but I don't think it looks too bad. I definitely think it looks better than the Scion Xb.

Ford is taking quite a gamble with the styling. Kudos for trying something different in this segment. Not that I'm in the market for a van-like vehicle, but this one looks quirky and cool.
