someone offered to send me an escrow payment through this company because they are out of country (moldova). has anyone ever even heard of it? I checked around the site, and it looks kinda cheap, but i dont know.

please help ASAP.

Moldova like nigeria is a third world hole in the wall. Check out "nigerian scam" "escrow scam" in google. I'm confident without looking it's a scam.
 
Just say you'll only sell & ship within the United States for all of your auctions. It's a lot safer that way... and it's not like you're going to lose too many customers.

Actually I only ship to the US, not even Canada. If you ship to Canada, then you can't use the domestic USPS Priority Mail boxes (that you can order for free) so you have to buy your own box, deal with customs forms, no delivery confirmation, etc. Also, Canadians like to make you say that it's a sub-$20 gift on the customs form so they can cheat with customs.

I've never had a problem selling something and I've sold thousands of items & only shipped them within the US.
