NYC Thunderstorm [video]

Dude, that storms nothing, and your video sucks.

I am from Long Island (Nassau county) and I've driven in worse.

I am in Raleigh right now for a semester and people here suck so much at driving, that after a small rainfall, and some Sun in their eyes, they had an 80 car pileup. Link about pileup.

 I'm from Suffolk, and that video blows goats with a vengeance. We have had MUCH worse storms in NY, you just never noticed. Slacker.

That video doesn't show much.

I was at my sisters place in Edgemere MD and we had a crazy storm around dinner time. Our power was still out but the DSL is working so I uploaded a video of just one bolt that I caught with the video camera. It sounded like the 1812 outside. Wicked cool!

Lots of fire engines running around. Just found out the neighbors across the street had their house struck and smoke was coming out of the attic. :Q

That's pretty weak, imo. I used to see storms like this growing up all the time. Having lived in a lot of parts of the US since I still haven't seen anything that comes close. Nothing like driving underneath a wall cloud with prototornadoes spinning above you; you can actually see the little pockets of circulation.
