nyc radio stations

so the fiance (he's a guy, and i'm a girl... yes, we've already been there) and i got a new car, but neither of us have listened to the radio in like... uh... 6 years or so.

what are the good radio stations (and what genres) in the nyc area that we can have as presets in our car radio?

(we'll make a YACT thread later if we choose to do so)

wow you must at least know z100... and K-Rock is the other big one. Don't go to 97.1... they are teh suck.

z100... of course i know. but is that 100.3 or 100.7? i don't even pay attention anymore...

i'm an alternative fan, but i also enjoy pop and 80s... occasional trance/dance music, but preferably in english. 🙂

me too... these stations have faded from the nyc scene 🙁

when's the last time there was some british pop.
