How did people of NYC even think these people were ok in the first place. I know about the fact that Trump being elected has shown that Americans in 2024 really did not care much about character, but NY still voted for Harris. What I do not get is why is Hochul not firing Adams, when it is already known the Jumani WIlliams has much bigger support and has been popular for a long time.

If Cuomo really joins there is a high chance Adams could end up winning all thanks to ranked choice. Anyone that votes for a pred like Cuomo, is probably going to list Adams as the second choice. I doubt anyone who can stand to support a sex pred can see the problem with Adams.
Democrats are going to end up loosing either in the primary or the general election. With the way things are going, its starting to look likely that NYC might either end up having a Republican or metaphorically Republican(Adams is a DINO) if Hochul does not fire Adams, and if Cuomo ends up running.
