NYC folks... Time Warner DVR any good?

Moving to Manhattan 10/24 and ordered Time Warner with the DVR package to replace my DTV Tivo. Is it any good or should I just spring for the Tivo Series 2?
 
im waiting to pick mine up.. i heard customer service is worse than anything in the world but dvr has been excellent to all my friends..
 
It works very well. BTW, Time Warner Cable will be offering NBA TV free from 10/28 to 11/19, if you have DTV. It doesn't matter which service(s) you have. The channel will just become available on those dates.
