NYC and Leonids @ 5:00 AM Eastern Time

I have been watching the skies for about forty minutes from 4:30 AM and have counted about 70 meteors so far even with all the light from street lamps and garage lights. Last year or the year before I froze my butt to see only about 10 per hour. It's nice to see even though its only streaks of white across the sky. Sometimes beauty is in simplicity.

Even with the horrible light pollution and bad view at my friends place in Clearwater I was able to see about 100 meteors from 4:45 to 5:20am. This one was worth getting up for IMO
