NYC and a two year old

GOing to NYC tommorrow with my 2 year old boy. Any ideas for places to go?

We are getting there early Saturday and leaving Sunday.

So far, we have the Natural History museum planned for Sunday before heading home.

FAO Schwartz?

We'll probably head over there. Good idea.

Oh snap!! Bring the plastic and be patient. 😉 My wife took my boys there when they were little. They had a blast in there.

Is there alot to do at het Central Park Zoo in the winter? Alot of indoor stuff that is?
Not really...just the penguins, ironically. Kinda sucks coming in the dead of winter, after Christmas, most of the good outdoor holiday family stuff (train show at the Bronx botanical gardens is awesome) is over and it's too cold for the other stuff (Bronx, CP zoos).

You could get him started on videogames early and take him to Nintendo World. 😉

Well, it's freezing cold right now so I don't know how much you want to do outdoors.

Definitely head down to the ToysRUs at Time Square. They have a cool ferris wheel ride inside.
Sesame Street Live will also be playing here next week: http://www.sesamestreetlive.com/tour_single.asp?showdate=1461

Yup, the wife mentioned that.

The boy isn't much into Sesame street yet.

Thansk for the ideas though ... I'l definitely be writing them down.
