Says the buffoon who doesn't understand retail margins at all.

My god, I actually agree with you.

Macamas has made it abundently clear that he has no comprehension of margins at any company. Evidently he believes they're able to absorb any amount of increase because they are... 'big'.

The majority of them already have a chance to get healthcare.

The biggest problem is that most of them can not afford the plans because of limited hours.

Which Target deliberately limits them to to avoid paying for benefits.

How does a union represent their interests??

A union only represents its own interest which is to add more members and more dues.
Sorry to quote page 1, but I never understand why conservatives say this. First they argue that union labor is a bunch of lazy fucks who can't possibly be fired and are paid 2x as much as they should be paid, then in the next sentence they'll say the union doesn't fight for the workers. Well which one is it? If I am part of a union, do I get to be a lazy overpaid dirtbag or not? It's a simple yes or no question.

In any event, unionizing Target does nothing because the competitors are not unionized. Where I live, Safeway seems to be unionized while Walmart is not. Things at Safeway are literally twice as expensive as Walmart. I don't always shop, but when I do, I shop at Walmart.

Like that's easy, or even possible with U3 at 9%, U6 at 17%.

Anybody who has a job is doing what they can to keep it, even when it means getting screwed. It's the trickledown utopia that righties have believed in for over 30 years, and now they have it.

They can even spout the same lame bullshit as they have all along, pretending that they haven't escaped reality to believe it & say it at all.
Are you fucking stupid?
Did you not notice the Wisconson union issues this year? Unions wanted more money from the state, that didn't have the money to give. Unions don't give a sit about employees or it's members. Unions are businesses designed to make money for the union and it's top brass, just like anything else. They prove again and again that they don't care and will bleed a business dry, and when the business goes under, all those union members are SOL.
FUCK unions.
You make a choice to work somewhere. If you don't like it don't work there. If you don't like the way things are going there, LEAVE.

Here's a good read on why unions are bad and liberal policies while "feel good" Don't work as intended.
