NVRaid Tool

Hi

I Have an Asus A8N-SLI Non-Deluxe board that's running sweet! I have 2 x 80Gb Hitachi HDDs on the Nvidia SATA ports in a Raid 0 configuration. When I installed Nforce 4 chipset drivers, I didn't install the IDE drivers (I read numerous times it can cause problems and being as I only have my DVD Writer on the IDE ports I left it off). But because I didn't install them, it also left off the NVRaid tool which ideally, I do need as I have Raid set up on my system and it would be helpful to have so I can monitor the Raid/HDD performance/reliablility.

What I need to know is;

Can I manually install the NVRaid tool on it's own without the IDE driver? If so, how do I go about it? There's no setup exe, just a .cat and .inf file along with the tool files.

Please, no educated guesses. I've got my system running great and ideally I'd like a definitive answer to my query. Yes? (If so, how?) No? I'll leave my system as it is.

Thanks in advance for any responses! :)

Same setup as mine, I presume...but using the IDE drivers without any problem...but I think the tool can't monitor performance/reliability anyway...
