NVIDIA's Secret Weapon : G71

I didn't read the link, but apparently G71 is a 90nm G70. No big surpise. If nV can make the 7800 for less, they'll do it, and that's what a smaller process tends to offer: more dies per wafer. Just when it'll arrive will be the surprise, IMO.
 
Well, ATI and NV both use TSMC for chip fabrication, correct? So I figure that if ATI is able to run 90nm chips, then NV would be able to as well. I wonder if they have some sort of arrangement to decide which company gets to try the new process first? NV did the .13 transition first, and had a tough time. Now ATI is doing the .09 transition and is also having a rough time. Kinda funny.
