I dont know if this has been put on this forum yet but i found this response and thought id share it to cuz i know how we all love to bicker 🙂

I am still quite worried about my FX 5900nu. I bought it because some of the benchs I say were on par with the 9800 but felt like they would improve with Nvidias frequent driver updates. Not that I am living or dying for HL@, I am more worried about other DX9 games that come out and don't get Nvidia's special attention because they are not as hyped as HL2. I just hope every cool game that comes out isnt crippled on Nvidia hardware untill they get around to writing new drivers to "optimize" them for said game.

Actually, i feel screwed and want to run out and buy a 9800 and sell my 5900, but i guess I'll wait till the new Detonators come out before I totally panic.
