NVidia's got the 94.24 drivers posted again...any good this time around?

I remember about a month (?) ago when they posted them, they were quickly pulled b/c they were crap.

How are they this around?

I couldn't find any release notes either. Maybe we're not looking in the right place? :confused:

I can remember when "they" (ATI and NVidia) would post the release notes link right next to the DL link for the driver itself. I miss those days.

Clearly defined things like "Fixed bug in Far Cry where red didn't display correctly indoors" and things like that.

I still haven't loaded the new drivers; my system is currently 10 months old on the SAME load of WinXPSP2 with all the latest drivers (except this one) DirectX, etc. No issues, stable as a rock...afraid to mess with it. :eek:

What I don't get is why Nvidia continues to release (or lack of release) old 9x.xx drivers for the pre 8800 series. It's been proven time and again that you can run most (if not all) of the older cards on the new(er) 100 series drivers.

Just check out the TRU driver roundup.
