nVidia's AF "optimizing"?

I know the shimmering article was mentioned but who posted the benchmark article with the disabled optimizations already?

It has been posted at least 4 times already in the very forum. USE THE SEARCH, and stop trying to get us to do it for you.

Also you might find it interesting that each of the other threads turned into a giant flamewar.

Come on mods, please lock.

I did search! I can't find THIS article posted. I KNOW that the 3DCenter article has been beaten over, but this is not what I linked to. This is a follow up on ComputerBase.de with Benchmarks of this AF optimization disabled. So again show me who posted this article already.

Why can you not understand. They are both on the same topic. The topic in question sparks huge flame wars, and has been beaten to death.

Why lock something just because it is controversial? If forum members are turning bad news for Nvidia into flame wars - give them a holiday.

So true... If you arent talking about a difference of opinion, why talk at all... A world full of agreements is a long Care Bears movie...

Otherwise every thread would look like this:

Post 1: I like "insert product here"
Post 2: I too like said product

I actually went back and read that thread to make sure my post WAS NOT a repost and in that thread there is a mention of YOU doing these benchmarks yourself. I never saw you post the results, so you off all people should be happy to see my post since this reviewer went off and did what you were going to do. So what's your problem with this thread? It discusses what you yourself never went thru the trouble of doing in the other thread.

It is not controversial. It is way past controversial. Only the German sites have posted such things, and it causes Nvidia fanboys, and people like me who are tired of this "lets bash a company bullsh!t".

Look ill sum everything up in 1-2 sentences.

German site reports that there are some flickering problems with the 6 and 7 series GPU's. Nvidia says "We will fix this problem in the Rel. 80 drivers".

What more is there to discuss. Anymore discussion leads to flamewars and people getting in trouble.

Enough is enough, stop beating a dead horse.

Your searching skills are piss poor then. I not only posted a link in that thread, i created a whole new thread entitled "Retro Benchmarks" or something to that extent.

That pretty much negates your entire post of trying to catch me with my head up my butt crack now doesn't it 🙂

funny how when the dead horse has ATI branding on the nVidia fans beat it, stab it, kick it, and then poke stick at it's corpse.

Yes plays like a nvidia fan club at times. On one hand is only a "German" web site - and on the other Nvidia admits it - so no issue - don't talk about it. Reminds me somewhat of that weird vid decoder driver thing.
