The article actually said the 7950GX2 is meant to compete with the XT1900XTX, at a much higher price.

Ridiculous...

If your cards are lesser than the competitor, then don't try hard to make something that competes and make it way expensive in the process. Thats why Intel is still around, they suck compared to AMD right now so their prices are lower. When Conroe arrives and Intel climbs back on top, AMD's ridiculous prices will finally drop.

Stupid Nvidia doesnt seem to get it. Their top cards don't compare, the end. Drop the prices morons, don't make things even more expensive.

The world's biggest Nvidia fanboy is officially quitting.

Ati here I come.... Well, soon at least.

chris2wire: consider writing these sorts of things in a personal diary or journal or something... unless you're trying to win the hearts of the teeming billions of women who read anandtechs forums and love guys who get all emotional over retarded stuff :)

How soon will it come out? I hope MSRP for these cards drops soon... I'm a month and ten days down on my 90-day evga step-up, and though actual prices have fallen, evga's msrp hasn't...

...bastards.

Well, if nobody buys, they have no choice except to drop their prices.
With all the new intros, prices are starting to drop anyway.
The buyer has spoken. We'll wait this one out......

Ill give Nvidia one thing... Their gpus run cooler compared to Ati's burning hot gpus. Its like Ati is pushing theirs too hard.

Not enough to justify the higher price for less performance though.

Im so angry! Well not really.

But Ive been with Nvidia since the mx400, up through the ranks, and have stopped at 6800gt... Its a sad ending to a loving relationship.

If you think ending this relationship is sad you may want to revaulate your life. ;)
