NVidia WHQL 30.82 Drivers posted

NVidia has posted their 30.82 WHQL drivers on their website. It is available at the following link:

It appears to be available for both Win9X and WinXP/2000.

I'm installing it now.

(side note: how come they are 10 megs? i just downloaded the 30.82 betas yesterday... they are only 5.74 megs)

Also, since I do have the beta version, is it likely the same thing, just WHQL certified, or are they probably changed?

Well I got them installed. I cannot really see much difference from the 29.42 drivers that I had before. I picked up 300 more points on 3dMark 2001SE. Not a big deal considering I went from 10385 to 10685. The suspend ability is still lost for my monitor. It last worked with 28.32. It has not worked on 29.42 or 30.82. I hope they get that fixed one day.

P4 1.6a @ 2.2GHz
Asus P4T533-C MB 512 MB Ram
LeadTek Ti4200 Card 300/530
running WinXP Pro

The bulk is probably from all the extra language files that weren't in the betas.

Hi My 3dMark2001 score have decreased from 8100 to 7950,, where are mine 150points??? I have Gainward Geforce4Ti4200 128MB oc to 310core 570memory, and Athlon C 1333 256MB 133mhz Cl2 sdram on Win XP,, is it possible that I see decrease on games also??anybody have the same problem??

Correction, no change with 3dmark2001SE about 8100 points again, I think original 3dmark2001 is looking like not good for win Xp , esp. for me now

Lost about 100 points. Gainward Ti4200 64MB, 270/540.

FPS dropped a little in Q3 @ 1600x1200. All others games seem to run about the same.

Computer 2: 2942 => 7163 | 30.82 => 7126


I consider these reductions to be totally insignificant (especially since 3dMark2001se never gives the same answer twice without allowing 10 or 20 points for data scatter.

bottom line on my machines: changes don't seem to affect GF3 much (if at all)

Stable for me too.... not sure about performance yet though.... close I believe.

Had to re-enable the refresh fix.... and went straight to MOHAA.... no problemo !!

I'm still running v.23.11 detonators. I don't upgrade simply for the fact that these have never let me down and everytime new drivers come out people say, i got an extra 20 points in 3dmark, which doesn't do much for me..........Should I upgrade to newer det's?
