My PC specs are in my signature...

If I wanna be able to play the newest Dragon Age I'm told I will need a new GPU...

What is the least expensive Nvidia version I can get away with?

Thanks!

That would depend on the level of detail you're willing to play at, btw any particular reason for no AMD GPU? I would say the least expensive would be a GTX 970, they're averaging about $330. I suppose you could also wait for the GTX 960 for whenever that comes out although they seem to be taking their time in releasing it.

I've just always used Nvidia...

I would get a GTX 970. It is a very easy suggestion and probably the best one.

In other word, it is a no brainer if you are willing to pay MAX 400$ with tax.

Well if u can wait until feb AMD will release their 3xxxx series & the game will be fully patched by then too & much cheaper. Anyways this is a mantle game cause it runs on frostbite engine 3, meaning it favors AMD.:)

For all graphics maxed out with no AA @ 1440p i average 40~50fps with GTX 970...for me thats more than enough for smooth gameplay.:) i couldnt wait though & upgraded just for this game cause its like crack. Love me a good RPG with gorgeous graphics!!

I agree with the 970 recommendation if it's only Nvidia to choose from, maybe a second hand 770 4gb if the budget is a bit below that? @1080p with a few settings tweaked you could probably get away with that.

If you want Nvidia card then get a GTX 970. The R9 290 and R9 290X are also good alternatives.

Wait until amd releases their 3xx cards so you can get nvidia gtx970 a lot cheaper.

gtx970 is a midrange card at high-end price. It should be sold at about $250.
