I see they plan to drop the GT line and just have the GTS as the step down under the GTX model. That'll help keep things simplified. And from what I hear of the rumored power use one 8800GTX dang well better be powerful because the rumor is 1x8800GTX needs 450w and 2x8800GTX in SLI is going to require 800w or more.

i have to agree . . . g80's expectations are high . . . and i hope it is a beast . . . that gives r600 something to aim at/above. ;)

Oh, yeah . . . my red [lensed] Oakleys Oakley Wire 2.0 [Rose/Irridium G3 Lens arrived today. :p

So yeah . . . you could say i look at things with a 'red' tint . . .
:Q

things DO look better thru rose-coloured glasses

oh yeah, closeout . . . i got 'em for $79.96 shipped

Actually my sunnies have interchangeable color lenses, and living in Australia as I do I can almost guarantee I get a lot more legitimate use out mine than you do (but, at least when you aren't just posing, you'll have at least *some* excuse for your red tinted vision).

This is my second pair of Oakley Wires . . . i had them also when i lived in Hawaii . . . they are very good lenses . . . and rarely discounted.

i also have the interchangeable lenses in my work glasses - Bolles . . . no green though. . . . it distorts colour much worse than gray or rose. :p

and i can guarantee that your "almost guarantee" is wrong. i live in SoCal where even wearing sun glasses at night are 'legitimate' and the Sun is strong most of the year. :p

Your problem appopin, is that you think the rest of the world must see/think things the same way that you do.

FYI I use blue lenses of a daytime and amber/yellowish lenses if I'm cycling of a night-time.

As for green "distorting color" that just goes to show how little you understand the human color perception system...

and your problem is that your can't see your own "problems" . . . you have a blindspot at least as big as mine

this is going a LITTLE off-topic - even for video :p

i am talking about YOUR green distorting YOUR perception. ;)

you never 'get' what i am saying . . . and it is difficult to explain over-and-over to someone who seems incredibly dense and who refuses to look at any explanation.

it is much easier to simply ignore you.
