nVidia TNT2 Ultra, AGP4x Supported or AGP2x?

Hey guys,
I have had my precious Creative Labs TNT2 Ultra AGP for a while now. I just recently bought me an AMD Tbird @ 800 w/an MSI KT7 Pro2a mobo. The specs all say that the mobo supports 1x, 2x, 4x AGP and WCPUID and POWERSTRIP both say the same. However, I really thought that this Video Card supported up to AGP 4x, I may be wrong. It is currently running at 2x according to Powerstrip and WCPUID as well as SISOFT SANDRA. Is there something I have to do or install to get it to go? I have the detonator 5.32s and I've tried the 6.50s as well. VIA 4.28 4-in-1s installed, latest BIOS on the mobo, AGP4x Mode enabled in BIOS. Anybody ?

Yeah, the TNT2 Ulta should support 4x agp. I had a Diamond V770 Ultra a while back. You had to set it in 4x AGP mode thru jumpers on the card. I suggest you download NVmax. That's the best nvidia tweaker around. You can set it to 4x AGP thu the regestry with nvmax. Also, do you have this problem with your MSI KT6- Pro2-A mobo?:

check out that link, and tell me if you have that problem.

Do you have the manual for the card? If so, it should state what to do. Other than that, I do think you have to set a jumper on the card.

None of the above worked, when clicking 4x AGP In NVMAX or anything it doesn't seem to be applied. The REG didn't seem to do anything either. Does the CL TNT2 Ultra not support 4x?

i think it does support 4x agp. check out creative's site and make sure they have that listed in the specs. Make sure you restart your computer after the 4x AGP change in NVmax.

Take Care,

Spleen
