I'm curious if anyone out there owns an nVidia Tesla compute GPU for something like Folding @ Home?

Going further, does anyone know if its possible to run PhysX on a Testa GPU?

I assume it is clearly capable of it but does nVidia limit the PhysX system software to only commercial (retail) GPU's? Or can you also get PhysX on even a Quadro card?

I don't know about physX (which is specific to games), but tesla is a GPGPU device. It runs CUDA (C code or Fortran on GPU). Folding at home does NOT use physX, folding at home uses CUDA. Thus folding at home will work with it.
Moreover, I checked their website and they officially support it
