nvidia system utility mouse freeze up

Well I got my new computer and I got it working well and I was using the nvidia system utility to see the temperature and there is a slider that affects the speed of the ram and the hyper transport link and i moved it from 800 mhz and 400 for the ddr to 804 and 402 and now my mouse doesn't work. Because of this i'm unable to reduce it back to it's default value which i hope will allow my mouse to work again. I tried tabbing through but that doesn't work. What do you guys think?
Thanks,
Stephen

I'm sorry to keep bumping this but I can't figure out what is going on at all. i tried plugging in a parallel mouse that seemed to work fine on another computer and it is acting really skippy and erratic so much so that i can't control it at all. The hyper transport link seems to be back down to 800 though for unknown reasons and the usb mouse still doesn't work

Okay well when i go into device manager it shows up as an unknown device with no driver but when i try and install a driver from the windows install disk it can't find it. If i plug in the mouse after uninstalling drivers it says that the usb device isn't recognized and that it malfunctioned (when i plug the mouse into my mac it works perfectly) or windows doesn't recognize it. I could get assistance in solving the problem if i could move my cursor over to click on the icon...
