How low do you want to set the bar? The factor quoted was 1.25x better performance/watt. Consider the power hog and efficiency disaster the GTX 480 was, that still isn't that great. But nevermind, as long as it's Green it doesn't matter, amirite? NVIDIA could do better than the 1.25x, or it couldn't. We'll find out tonight and I'll be checking out reviews.LOL. Way to moce the goalposts. Most people were saying that IF nV could release a 512 "Cuda core" version of the 480, it would consume even more power.
If they can do 20% better performance using less power at higher clocks, this fast...I think it will be a win for them.

And yet you say this with video evidence right in front of you...Really? That sounds awefully low for a 4ghz i7 + a heavily OCd 5850. I kind of doubt that...
